Vicki Fields

Vicki Fields, 50, of Columbus, went home to be with the Lord at 12:16 p.m. on April 21, 2020, at Columbus Regional Health.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1:15 p.m. on Friday, April 24, 2020, at Vernon Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 24, 2020, prior to the start of the graveside service, at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service.  Due to the recent coronavirus pandemic, we would like to remind you to please limit visitors to only ten people at a time in the funeral home. We ask that you help us be mindful of this restriction during this fight to slow the spread of the virus.   

Born March 31, 1970, in Columbus, Vicki was the daughter of Delbert R. and Mary (Williams) Fields. They survive.

Vicki was a very loving and compassionate lady. She was loved and will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Vicki had a great love for animals.

In addition to her parents, Dilbert and Mary Fields of Columbus, survivors include sisters, Julie (Scott) Hershauer of Greensburg, Debbie (Terry) Duffy of Greensburg; two half-brothers; nieces, Ciara (Tim) Hammer of Newburgh, April (Zach) Wirrig of Greensburg; great nieces, Adeline and Evelyn Hammer, Quinn Wirrig; aunts, Donna Fugate of North Vernon , Cherrill Martin of North Vernon, Billie Higdon of North Vernon, Margaret Wilder of North Vernon, and Norma Milliman of Kokomo; many other relatives.

Vicki was preceded in death by her long-time friend of 25 years, Mike Hoaks; aunt, Susan Williams.
