Roger Wayne Sisson

Roger Wayne Sisson, 55, of Crystal, MN, formerly of Nashville, IN, passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2021 in Robbinsdale, MN.

There will be a private graveside service scheduled at a later date. Cremation was chosen. Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service are entrusted with the arrangements.

Born on June 19, 1965, in Columbus, IN, Roger was the son of Lloyd and Donna (Steininger) Sisson.

Roger graduated from Brown County High School in 1983 where he was an accomplished actor in high school musicals and plays. He went on to graduate from the Indiana University in 1987 with a BA degree and the University of Illinois in 1991 with a Master’s Degree in Theatre Scenic Design. Roger was a very talented artist. His hand-made crafts included architectural scale modeling of small houses as well as tall skyscrapers. He crafted unique one-of-a-kind picture frames and won awards for his work. He loved being outdoors and collecting anything he could use, in one of his many art projects. He believed that ART HEALS.

Roger is survived by his father, Lloyd Sisson, of Nashville, IN; sister, Janet Slevin of Nashville, IN; brothers, Gary Sisson of North Vernon, IN, and Donald (Susie) Sisson of Gurnee, IL; nieces, Kimber Alexander, and Tori Sisson; nephews, David, Tyler, Dwight, Declan, and Dalton Sisson.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Sisson and brother Thomas Dwight Sisson.
