Robert R. Edmundson

Robert “Bob” Richard Edmundson, age 76, passed away suddenly on Sunday November 7th, 2021. Born October 15th, 1945, he was raised and lived mostly in and around the Hayden, Indiana area.   He was loving a husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.   

He was retired from Cummings Engine Company, having worked for them 38 years as an electrician and machine builder. He had a passion for riding motorcycles, working on cars, and attending car shows, where he entered his 2000 Firebird.  Honoring family and friends was very important to him, as he made it a point to decorate the family graves on Memorial Day and attend the funerals of those he knew throughout the years.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Edmundson; daughter, Kim (Jim) Williams; son, Kevin (Kristen) Edmundson; grandchildren:  Nicole (Greg) Shields, Haley (Patrick) Mills, Cameron (Kailey Davis) Edmundson, Lucy Edmundson; great grandchildren, Carver and Navy Shields, Raylan and Wyatt Mills, Elliot, Astrid and Nell Davis ; a brother, Jack (Veronica) Edmundson; stepdaughters, Chris Sneed (David Burns) and Katie (Greg) Lovins; step grandchildren Bret (Madisyn) Robbins, Colby, Gracie and Jobey Lovins and step great grandson Knox Robbins.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Nettie Edmundson and brother, Buck Edmundson.

Visitation will be at Sawyer Pickets on Monday November 15th from 1pm to 4pm, with a memorial service following.  A donation can be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana or Hayden United Methodist Church.  Flowers are also welcomed at the memorial service.
