Patrick Lee "Levi" Garrett Jr.

Patrick Lee Garrett Jr., 49, of North Vernon, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2020, at his home.

A memorial service will be conducted at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 10, 2020, at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service. Rev. Lonny Goen will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until the start of the service on Friday, July 10, 2020, at the funeral home. Please be mindful of the 6 feet social distancing requirements and we also strongly suggest all attendees to wear a mask if possible.

Born on October 19, 1970, in Greensburg, Patrick is the son of Patrick Sr. and Donna (Spurlock) Garrett. He was united in marriage to Carolee Goen on April 24, 2015. She survives.

After graduating from Jennings County High School in 1989, Patrick, better known as “Levi” to all who loved him, went on to serve his country proudly in the United States Navy. He worked as an Electrical Engineer. Patrick enjoyed flying Drones and weather watching.

In addition to his wife, Carolee Garrett of North Vernon, survivors include father, Patrick Garrett Sr. of Seymour; mother, Donna Garrett of North Vernon; step mom, Jo Garrett; daughter, Christina Garrett of MI; son, Carl Garrett of Madison; step daughter, Thea Purdue of North Vernon; step sons, Tyler and Isaiah Purdue both of North Vernon; brother, Kevin Holly of Indianapolis; sister, Tammy Garrett of North Vernon; step brothers, Mark and Jay Matney; grandchild, Ryder Thomas Purdue.

Memorial can be made through the funeral home to the family for funeral expenses.
