Born on July 6, 1955, in North Vernon, Nancy was the loving daughter of Elmer and Joann (Corbin) Hauersperger. They both preceded her in death.
Nancy’s favorite part of her life were her children and grandchildren. She loved to play with her grandchildren and show them how to cook. Nancy was known as someone who was ready for anything, often with food. She was always ready to give advice, with or without being asked, but would always stand beside you no matter what choice was made. Nancy loved to talk to friends and family for hours at a time. Her home was filled with love and anyone would feel at home once they entered.
Nancy is survived by her companion, Joseph Hanes of Columbus; daughters, Cynthia Goode of Shelbyville, and Julie (Joshua) Evans of Shelbyville; son, Brian Burchfield (Jean Rodriguez) of Columbus; grandchildren, Tyra, Emma, Keagon, Gretchen, Lincoln, and Hazel; brother, Benjamin (Lisa) Hauersperger of Hayden; sisters, Mary Hausersperger of Seymour, and Barbara (Dominic) Morris of North Vernon; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Joann Hauersperger; sister, Anita Hauersperger.
Memorials can be made through the funeral home to the American Cancer Society.
