James Edward Wilber, 70, of Dupont passed away at 8:35 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29, 2020, the Heritage House in Greensburg.
A memorial service with military honors will be conducted at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 5, 2020. Steve Bertram will officiate. Sawyer – Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Born May 19, 1949, in Cheyenne, WY, James was the son of Raymond D. and Margie A. Lehn Wilber. He married Brenda Ketchum. She passed away on April 22, 2018.
James was a retired truck driver. He served in the US Army as a door gunner in the 173d Americal during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by sons, Jesse Wilber, and Monte Ray Wilber; daughters, Shanon DeBelle, Amanda McCleary, and Misty Reimers; and several grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
