Etta “Rose” Lienberger, 69, Butlerville, passed away at 6:10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 2020, at home.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:15 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at Baldwin Cemetery. Rev. Donnie Asbury will officiate. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. prior to the graveside service on Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service.
Born April 3, 1951, in Indianapolis, Etta was the daughter of Clifton Ross Sr. and Geraldine Merrick. She was united in marriage to William Lienberger. He preceded her in death on May 31, 2013.
Etta was a “jack of all trades” having worked a variety of careers as an EMT in Columbus, truck driver, and sold real estate for a while. She enjoyed her horses and her dogs.
Etta is survived by daughters, Anita (Michael) Sproessig of Butlerville, and Magadalene Asbury (Joshua) Jonothan of North Vernon; son, Bobby Asbury II (Angela Smith) of Butlerville; sisters, Barbara Hand and Sara Ross both of Columbus; grandchildren, Hannah Smith, John T Smith, Kaitlin Beller, Corbin Beller, Deacon Beller, and Ashley Bush (J.C.); four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton Ross Sr. and Geraldine Merrick; husband, William Lienberger; brother, Clifton Ross Jr.; and one grandchild.
