Charles David Lain, 58, of Columbus, passed away 8:23 a.m. on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, in Columbus.
A memorial service will be conducted at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service. Lori Martin will officiate. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until the start of the service.
Born on September 20, 1964 in Columbus, Charles was the loving son of Charles Moses and Karen Sue (Whittington) Lain.
Charles was a self-employed carpenter over the years. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and loved people.
He is survived by his son, Dawson Carvin of Indianapolis; daughter, Angelique Perkins of Columbus; sisters, Lori (James) Martin of New Albany, and Stacie Hibbs of Indianapolis; and six nieces.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Karen Lain; sister, Teresa Coles.
Memorials can be made to the funeral home for expenses.
