Arnold C. Redmond, 71, of North Vernon, passed away at 9:32 a.m. on Monday, February 17, 2020, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
In honoring Arnold’s wishes, there will not be any services held. Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Redmond was born in Nancy, Kentucky, on May 11, 1948, to Robert and Zella (Anderson) Redmond. He was united in marriage to Karen Comer on March 8, 1967. She survives.
Along with his wife, Karen Redmond of North Vernon, Arnold is survived by son, James (Andrea) Redmond of Paris Crossing; daughter, Carol (Andy) Boyd of San Jacinto; grandchildren, Jessica (Tyler) Cheatham of Shelbyville, KY, Emily (Jonathon) Ooms of Hope, Daniel, Austin, and Graycee Redmond of Paris Crossing; great grandson, Tyler Ooms of Hope; brothers, Donald Redmond of Ft. Wayne, Orville (Carol) Redmond, Auda (Debbie) Redmond, and Marvin “Skip” Redmond all of North Vernon; sisters, Helen Scott of La Porte, and Mary (Mike) Marchesano of Ft Wayne.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Zella Redmond; brother, Ronald “Deter” Redmond; sister, Angela Pennington.
