Mr. Wilbur Ryan

Wilbur Lee Ryan, 78, of North Vernon, passed away on April 4, 2013, at Columbus Regional Hospital.

Born January 9, 1935, in Friendship, IN, Wilbur was the son of the late Walter and Clara Mae Ehlers Ryan. He married Martha Locke in March 1964. She survives.

Wilbur worked in construction most of his life. He enjoyed camping, working in his yard, handyman work and working on cars.

Wilbur is survived by his wife, Martha; sister, Ella Mae Delk of Franklin, KY; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Virginia Ashcraft.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service in North Vernon. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Olean Cemetery in Ripley County.
