Virginia C. Bolding, 79, of North Vernon passed away on Friday, May 20, 2016 at Covered Bridge Health Campus.

A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday at 1:00 PM Tuesday at Sawyer – Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service. Rev. Will Smith will officiate. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery in Seymour. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Born July 13, 1936 in Lebanon, KY, Virginia was the daughter of William Abe and Cora Mae Walls Lucas. She married Lloyd Bolding. He preceded her in death.

She worked for many years at Parasote in Seymour. She loved flowers, bird watching, fishing, playing cards, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her step-children, Kevin (Laticia) Bolding of Seymour, Gail Scherer of North Vernon, and Karen Kreinhagen of Commiskey; brother, Edward Lucas of North Vernon; sisters, Helen Louise McNeal of North Vernon, Dorothy Stewart of North Vernon, and Edith Mae Minks of Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; son, David Adams; brothers, William Ray, Robert, and Paul H. Lucas; sisters, Geneva Everage, and Beatrice Kyle.
