Mrs. Vickie L. Neely

May 11, 1955 - February 13, 2010

Vickie L. Neely, 54, North Vernon, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 9:00 p.m. at Hospice of South Central Inpatient Facility.

Born May 11, 1955 in Shelbyville, Vickie was daughter of Donald Ash and Donna Walters. She later married Kenneth Neely on January 14, 1976.

Mrs. Neely had been secretary for NRS Inc. and was a proprietor of Mechelle's Jewelry and V's Botique. She enjoyed painting, working with stained glass, crafts and gardening.

She is survived by her parents; husband; three daughters, Michelle Cuneo and Christina Neely of Columbus and Ashley Neely of North Vernon; 3 Grandchildren, Justin Cuneo, Neely and Ray Sanchez all of Columbus; a brother, James Ash of Indianapolis; a sister, Brandy Neely of Florida; and a step-mother, Rose Lee Marshall of Indianapolis.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be held at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at 1:00 pm. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday. Interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery.
