Mrs. Verda M. Adams Keen

June 22, 1932 - June 20, 2012

Verda Mae Adams Keen, 79, of North Vernon, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Born June 22, 1932, in Perry County, KY, Mrs. Keen was the daughter of William Young and Judy Adams Young.
Verda enjoyed flower gardening, fishing, bluegrass music, her family and grandkids.
Mrs. Keen is survived by two daughters, Sandra K Guthrie of North Vernon and Pamela J. Miller of Madison; two sons, Ricky A. Adams of North Vernon and David G. Adams of Vevay and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Keen, parents, two sons, Bill Adams and Tim Adams, two brothers, James Young and Robert Young, and a sister, Helen Cummings.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service with Rev. Mike Schuler officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home on Friday, June 22, 2012 and from 9:00 AM until the time of the service on Saturday. Burial will be at Dupont Cemetery.
