Mr. Travis J. Blair

May 25, 1950 - January 19, 2016

Travis J. Blair, 65, of Holton, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2016, at Neuropsychiatric of Indianapolis.

Born May 25, 1950, in Adair County, KY, Travis was the son of late Lester and Nedoma (Bolin) Blair.

Travis retired from Muscatatuck State Developmental Center after 19 years of employment as a caregiver. He enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include three sons, James Blair of Plainfield, Lester Blair and Travis Blair, Jr., both of North Vernon; two sisters, Janet Blair and Vontris Kinsey, both of Bedford; two brothers, Coy Blair of Columbus and Kenny Blair of North Vernon; grandchildren, Keisha, Brittany, Elizabeth, Skylar, Frankie, Kamrin, Rebekah, and Evelyn Blair, Myranda Allman, Kenneth and Brady Terry; great-grandchildren, Shaylee, Brailee, and Natalee.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Kermit Blair, and one grandson, Kyle Blair.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 25, 2016, at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service. Rev. Dale Boyd will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Monday. Burial will be in Vernon Cemetery.
