Tori Lynn Root, 3, of North Vernon, died on June 9, 2010 from the result of a motor vehicle accident.

Born on September 14, 2006 in Columbus, she was the daughter of Ricky and Shannon Root of North Vernon.

Tori loved playing with her brother and sisters, enjoyed eating popsicles, going to the park and playing with her baby dolls. She loved singing the "Big Green Tractor" song.

She is survived by her parents, a brother, Braden Root; two sisters, Shachey and Brooklyn Root; grandfather and step-grandmother, Steve and Joann Luedeman of North Vernon; grandparents, Richard and Teresa Root of Clear Spring and an aunt, Jaimee Ludeman.

She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Sheila Luedeman.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Sawyer ~ Pickett Funeral Home with the Rev. Danny Corbin officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. and from 12 p.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday. Interment will be at the Hayden Cemetery.
