Timothy G. Wilson, 56, of North Vernon, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2017, in Edinburgh

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 23, 2017, at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service. The Rev. Jamie Jessie will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Monday. Burial will be in Scipio Cemetery.

Born January 20, 1961, in Edmonton, KY, Tim was the son of Glen R. and Shirlie (Caffee) Wilson.

Tim served in the United States Air Force from 1980 to 1986. He was a member of Freedom Missionary Baptist Church in Letts, and he enjoyed bowling and watching stock car races.

Survivors include his mother, Shirlie Wilson of North Vernon; son, Marshall Wilson of North Vernon; sister, Debbie Clements of North Vernon; four brothers, Rickie, Steve, Donnie (Debi) and Jason Wilson, all of North Vernon; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Glen Wilson.
