Timothy Marc Miller, 67, of North Vernon, passed away at 12:26 a.m. on Thursday, March 04, 2021, surrounded by his loved ones at home.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 8, 2021, at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service. Rev. Sherman Beville will officiate. Burial will be in the Vernon Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. till the time of service on Monday, March 8, 2021.
Born on October 30, 1953, in Milan, Tim was the loving son of Donald and Martha (Dunn) Miller. He was united in marriage to Mary Fugate. She survives.
Tim started working in the funeral service industry when he was 18 years old. He graduated from Mid America College of Funeral Service in 2000. During his time in the funeral service industry he worked at Lytle Funeral Home and Vail-Holt Funeral Home both in Madison, Graham-Dunn Funeral Home in Carrollton, and Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home in North Vernon. Tim was a past member of the Kentucky and Indiana Funeral Association and the Kentucky Coroner Association. He held a Funeral Director's License in Indiana and Kentucky. Tim loved Theology, music, playing drums, coaching sport teams, and watching MSNBC News. Most of all he enjoyed and cherished being a Pawpaw.
In addition to his wife, Mary Miller of North Vernon, Tim is survived by sons, J. Marc Miller of Anderson, and Joshua Miller (Lauren) of Brownsville, KY; daughters, Nicole Herr of North Vernon, Samantha Herr of North Vernon, Christina Wooley (Steven) of Plainfield, and PJ (Grant) Trader of Hanover; grandchildren, Julia, Kyndal, Ashlynne, Jaren, Caylee, Lana, Cian, James, Preston, Lily, Meredith, Seth, Henry, Timothy, Kimberly, William, Angelica, Elias, and Evelee; two great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Martha Miller.
Memorials can be made through the funeral home to the family.
