Mr. Timothy A. Hooker

May 12, 1954 - March 02, 2014

Timothy A. Hooker, 59, of North Vernon passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital in Greenwood.

Born May 12, 1954 in Indianapolis, Tim was the son of William and Helen Stearns Hooker.

He graduated from Warren Central High School in 1972. He worked nineteen years as a baker for Kroger's. He was most recently employed with Medi-Cab.

Tim was a member of Eagles club and AmVets in North Vernon. He was an avid sports fan, enjoyed singing karaoke music, and camping.

He is survived by sons, Timothy Hooker II of Indianapolis, and Andrew Hooker of North Vernon; one daughter, Kim Bradley of Brownsburg; one brother, Tom Hooker of Orlando, FL; grandchildren, AJ, Cloe, and Addison Hooker, and Ethan Bradley; companion, Darlene Wilson.

He was preceded in death by his father, William "Bill" Hooker, mother, Helen Hooker DeCamp, and a brother, Daniel Hooker.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be conducted Friday, March 7, 2014 at 12:00 noon at Sawyer - Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service. Rev. Dale Boyd will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment will be in Vernon Cemetery.
