It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thomas "Tommy" E. Cartwright, who left us on October 26, 2026, at the age of 58. Born on January 22, 1968, in Seymour, Indiana, Tommy lived a life full of adventure and passion.

An HVAC technician by trade, Tommy was known for his exceptional skills in heating and cooling, always ready to lend a hand to those in need. But beyond his work, he was an avid outdoorsman who loved nothing more than spending time in nature. Tommy had a particular fondness for hunting and fishing, often accompanied by his beloved squirrel dogs. His laughter and stories about his outdoor escapades will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Tommy is survived by his father, Thomas Cartwright Sr., his mother, Susan Cartwright, his brother Robert, his sister Carrie, as well as his cherished nieces Isabella Smith and Olivia Baray, and his nephews Brandon "Pety" Cartwright and Jody Cartwright, several great-nieces and nephews, and the rest of the Cartwright family.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Tommy's life on November 1, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service. Join us as we come together to share memories, stories, and laughter, just as Tommy would have wanted. He may be gone, but his spirit will live on in our hearts and the great outdoors he loved so much.

Memorials may be made in Tommy's memory to Freedom Hunt Southern Swing through the funeral home.
