Thomas "Duncan" Joseph Toppe, 21, of Fort Wayne, passed away at 7:31 p.m. on October 31, 2019 at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at the funeral home.

Born August 23, 1998, in Seymour, Duncan was the son of Benjamin Toppe and Carla (Bowen) Marsh.

Duncan graduated in 2017 from Jennings County High School and attended 1 year at University of Southern Indiana. He played football, wrestled, and was a part of the track and field. Duncan loved to sing, he sang in the choir, was a member of Touch of Class and a member of the Chamber Choir. In his spare time, he liked fishing, writing poetry and music, video games, and working out. After school he started working in construction as a Miner for the Lane Construction Company. He was a member of the  Local Union 213. Duncan loved spending time with his family and especially his significant other of four years, Hannah.

Duncan is survived by his soulmate, Hannah Rudd of Fort Wayne; father, Benjamin Toppe of Seymour; mother, Carla Marsh of Commiskey; sister, Taylor (Aaron) Miller of Columbus; brother, Noah Toppe of Paulding, Ohio; niece, Mila Miller; nephew, Miles Miller; grandmothers, Sharon Bowen of North Vernon and Sharon Toppe of Brownstown.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Jim Bowen and Tom Toppe
