Thomas L. Hutt, 74, of North Vernon, passed away at 8:10 a.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2016, at his residence.

Born March 10, 1942, in Hamburg, Indiana, Tom was the son of William and Mary (Paul) Hutt. He married Betty Schenk on November 26, 1966, and she survives.

A machine repairman, Mr. Hutt was employed by United Technology Carrier Corporation for 34 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, American Legion and St. Mary's Catholic Church. He enjoyed playing cards and hunting.

In addition to his wife, Betty, survivors include five brothers, Jack (Anna) Hutt of Indianapolis, Joseph (Marti) Hutt of New Albany, Bob Hutt of Clarksville, Bud (Jackie) Hutt of Whiteland, and Phil Hutt of Clarksville; four sisters, Barbara Flispart of Leavenworth, Cecilia Steele of Jeffersonville, Carla (Jim) Schnieders of Ferdinand and Kathaleen (Sam) LaHue of Clarksville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two daughters, Alberta Jean Hutt and Beth Ann Hutt; brother, Mark Hutt; and sister, Cynthia Hutt.
