Theresa J. Gosnell, 60, of North Vernon passed away at 5:07 PM on Monday, May 4, 2015 at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.

Born July 4, 1954 in Freetown, she was the daughter of Donald Eugene and Rose Ilene Tabor Butler. She married Frank Gosnell on April 14, 2007.

Theresa was a homemaker. She enjoyed riding motorcycles, crafts, making jewelry, camping, her animals, Bible and prayer time, and most of all, spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Frank Gosnell of North Vernon; two sons, Harlan Donald (Tammy) Jackson of Seymour, and Frank Lloyd Gosnell Jr. of North Vernon; one daughter, Shannon Rose Jackson Root (Greg Scott) of Brownstown; two brothers, Joe (Linda) Butler of Medora and Kevin Butler of Vallonia; three sisters, Jennifer Butler (Eugene Reed) of Medora, Ruth Butler McQueen of Seymour, and Patricia Walker of Freelandville; grandchildren, Robert, Brittany, Kamron, Harlan Jr., Carter, and Brinlee Jackson, Samantha Anderson, Hannah Gosnell, and Jaylen, Madison, and Jackson Carpenter; great-grandchildren, Anthony and Bryson Jackson, and Damain Root.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, William Clyde and John David Butler.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 PM Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Sawyer - Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service with Rev. Dan Corbin officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until the time of the service.

Donations Information

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
