Teresa Tucker

October 16, 1951 - July 22, 2010

Teresa Tucker, 58 of Southgate, MI, passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2010 at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI.

Born October 16, 1951 in Detroit, MI., she was the daughter of the late Lester M. and Edith Mildred Day Tucker. She survives.

She was like a mother to everyone who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her mother, Edith Tucker of North Vernon; sisters, Leslie Gabbard of North Vernon, Rebecca Lessley of AK., Malinda Christian, Geraldine "Geri" Taurence, a brother, Benton Gibson all of MI.; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father; companion, Donald Robinson; and two brothers, John Earl Gibson and Lester D. Tucker.

Arrangements were made in care of Sawyer~Pickett Funeral Home.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 28 at 1:00 p.m. at the Sawyer~Picket Funeral Home in North Vernon with the Rev. James Carmichael officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4:00- 8:00 p.m. at the Sawyer~Pickett Funeral Home and on Wednesday from noon until the time of service. Burial will be at the Vernon Cemetery in
Vernon, Indiana.
