Mrs. Teresa Sue Burton

April 23, 1957 - December 10, 2008

Teresa Sue Burton, 51, of North Vernon, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital.

Born April 23, 1957 in Jackson County, she was the daughter of Richard Dale and Loretta Jean Rutherford Waskom, they preceded her in death. She married Bryon Burton, he survives.

Mrs. Burton had served in the National Guard. She was discharged in December 1981. She had been a homemaker for several years.

Mrs. Burton is survived by her husband, Bryon, two sons, Roger D. Burton and Richard Lee Burton, all of North Vernon, one brother, Michael Waskom of Seymour and a sister, Karen N. Farrow of Salem.

Mrs. Burton was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will be 1 PM Monday, December 15, 2008, at Sawyer~Pickett Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday from 11 AM to time of service. Burial will be in the Hayden Cemetery.
