Susan Eileen Goodin

July 09, 1948 - February 28, 2011

Susan Eileen Goodin, 60 of North Vernon, passed away unexpectedly at 5:47 p.m. on February 28, 2011 at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital in North Vernon.

Born on March 29, 1950 in Ohio, she was the daughter of Ernest and Ethel Halley Johnson both of Arkville, NY. She married Ivan Goodin on November 16, 2008 and he survives.

Susan had worked for Muscatatuck for several years and had worked for Indiana Mentor the last two years as a Qualified Medical Assistant - Aid. She loved taking care of people and was very strong in her Christian faith.

Survivors include her parents, husband Ivan, two sons, Brad Finch of Sunman and Brian Finch of Arkville, NY, two daughters, Vicki Lance of Vernon and Dawn Jaquish of Flieschmanns, NY, eight grandchildren, two brothers, Joe Johnson of Arkville, NY and Steve Curless of New York, and four sisters, Sandy Bouton of Andes, NY, Marilyn Gonzales of Arkville, NY, Linda Bryan of Delhi, NY, and Diane Kelly of Cobleskil, NY.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral Home with Chaplain Colleen Malone. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday. Burial will be at Vernon Cemetery.
