Mrs. Susan J. Beeman

February 20, 1948 - August 14, 2010

Susan Jane Beeman, 62, of Butlerville passed away Saturday, August 14, 2010 at her residence at 7:40 a.m.

Born February 20, 1948, in Anderson, she was the daughter of Ralph and Ruby Kennon McVey. She married Jess Beeman on December 24, 1966. He preceded her in death on July 18, 2006.

Mrs. Beeman had been a hair dresser in Jennings County for over 30 years. She attended the Nebraska Church of God her whole life. Susan enjoyed substitute teaching at Brush Creek Elementary, gardening & working outside. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her mother, Ruby McVey of Butlerville, a daughter, Lori (Kevin) Graham, of Butlerville; a son, Jeff Beeman of Butlerville, 4 grandchildren, Alicia Graham, Bryant, Kristen and Jesyka Beeman; two brothers, Don and Ed McVey, both of Butlerville and a sister Becky Hull of Butlerville.

She was preceded in death by her father, husband, and a sister, Patricia Beeman.

Funeral Information

Funeral will be held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Sawyer~Pickett Funeral Home with Rev. Butch Woodell officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and 9:00 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday. Burial will be at the Otter Creek Cemetery in Nebraska, IN.
