Steven Charles Evans, 64, of North Vernon, passed away at 2:45 a.m. on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at Seymour Crossing in Seymour.

There will be a visitation held from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service.  Cremation was chosen.

Born on September 15, 1959, in Madison, Steven was the loving son of Charles and Betty Lou (Arney) Evans.

Steven worked for Martinrea and also worked part time at State Street Tire. He loved racing and working on cars. Steven was a Vernon history buff, loved learning all he could about Vernon. He enjoyed a good Starbuck's Carmel Frappe.

He is survived by daughter Angel Evans of Shepherdsville, KY.

Steven was preceded in death by parents, Charles and Betty Lou Evans; sister, Cheryl Ann Evans.
