Shirley Ann Harmon

April 14, 1955 - March 24, 2009

Shirley Ann Harmon, 53, of North Vernon passed away on March 24, 2009 at 3:50 AM at her home.

Born April 14, 1955 in Hazard, KY, she was the daughter of the late Jeff and Mary Rose Baker Couch. She is survived by her husband George Harmon.

Shirley was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She also worked as a DST at Muscatatuck State Developmental Center.

Mrs. Harmon is survived by three sons, Jayson Watts of Hanover, Jeffery Watts of North Vernon, and John Watts of Indianapolis.. She is also survived by several adopted children, Beth and Morgan Couch both of North Carolina, Gracie Couch of Scipio, Julia Coe, Anna Halloway, and Cole Bobbett of North Vernon. Also surviving are five grandchildren. Surviving siblings are Edward Napier of Kentucky, Bobby Napier of Tennessee and Glenna Campbell of Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter Mary Ann Freeman .

There will be a graveside service at Hazard, Kentucky at a later date.
