Sharon K. Meyer, age 81, of Columbus, Indiana, passed away on February 5, 2026, at The Belmont. Born on March 6, 1944, in Louisville, Kentucky, Sharon was the cherished daughter of the late Harvey and Katie Barnsfather Kinman. She was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and friend who touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Sharon graduated from Brown County High School and dedicated 25 years of her working life to Arvin Industries, where she built lifelong friendships and earned immense respect from her colleagues. After her retirement from Arvin, she found fulfillment in her role at St. Vincent - Jennings Hospital.

In her personal life, Sharon was a loving wife to the late Jerry Nelson Meyer, who preceded her in death. Together, they created a warm and loving home filled with laughter and cherished memories. Sharon's greatest joy came from spending time with her daughter, Cynthia Ewing, son-in-law R. Michael Ewing, and son, William Kinman Sr. She was a doting grandmother to William Kinman Jr., Devin Kinman, and J. Nelson Kinman, with whom she shared countless adventures.

Sharon is also survived by her her siblings, Patsy and her husband Clayton Fox, Glen and his wife LuLu Kinman, Rodney and his wife Barb Kinman.

Sharon had a profound love for animals, bringing joy to her life and those around her. She was a remarkable woman whose kindness, laughter, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A visitation will be held at the Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM. Rev. Dale Boyd will officiate.

Sharon K. Meyer leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and the importance of family. Her light will continue to shine in the hearts of her loved ones, who will forever hold her memory close.

Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Meyer; parents, Harvey and Katie Kinman; brother, Phil Kinman.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the donor's choice of charity.
