It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Sandra S. Graham, who departed this life peacefully on March 26, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on May 8, 1943, in Queensville, Indiana to Charles Ervin Robbins and Cleonia Louise (Cooper) Robbins. She married William E. Graham on October 23, 1970 in Vernon, Indiana. She spent her life in the community of Scipio, where she touched the lives of many. Sandra was a beloved mother and grandmother, whose presence will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Sandra retired from Cummins Engine Company where she worked in the office. After retirement she worked at Batar Cafe. Sandra enjoyed sewing, baking, planting flowers and going on quilt trips with her beloved friends. She was talented at quilting and needlework. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her grandsons. Sandra had a big heart and was loved by all who knew her. Sandra was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Winding Waters Quilt Club, and a past member of Extension Homemakers. Sandra is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Natalie and Keith Messer and grandsons, Wyatt and Saban Messer. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents Charles Ervin Robbins and Cleonia Louise (Cooper) Robbins, husband, William E. Graham, and sisters, Carol Harding and Loretta Deeg. In honor of Sandra's life, a funeral service will be held on April 1, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service. Friends and family will be welcome to pay their respects during a public viewing, which is scheduled for 11:00 AM until the start of the service. Deacon Larry French will officiate. Burial will be at Scipio Cemetery following the service. Sandra will be missed dearly by her family and friends. We invite all who knew and loved Sandra to join us in celebrating her remarkable life and enduring spirit. May she rest in peace.
