Sallyann Costello

Sallyann Costello, 73, of Seymour passed away Friday, February 6, 2015 at Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg.

Born February 13, 1941 in Philadelphia, PA, Sallyann was the daughter of Charles and Gertrude Adams Moyer.

She had been a homemaker for the last several years. She was active in the Foster Grandparent program until she became ill. She loved to oil paint, sing, and listen to 50's music. She danced on the original American Bandstand television show, and was a waitress for Ricky Nelson on several occasions.

She is survived by two sons, Frank Costello Jr., and Kenneth (Catherine) Costello of Ticonderoga, NY; daughter, Sallyann (Kevin) Lawrence of Maple Shade, NJ; two sisters, Charlene Brewer of North Vernon, Alice Fagan of Philadelphia, PA; two brothers, Charles William Moyer of Philadelphia, PA, and Percy Moyer of Seymour; grandchildren, Kenneth Costello Jr., Anthony & Ashley Costello, Danna Wilson, John & Paul Gilchrist, and Brittany Ragan; several great-grandchildren. She is survived locally by Michael (Shavonne) Moyer, Ray (Connie) Adcox, and Sandra (Chet) Cockerham.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and daughter, Debra Gilchrist.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be conducted Monday, February 9, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Sawyer - Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service. The Rev. Larry Robbins will officiate. Interment will be in Vernon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
