Ryan Lee Johnson, 46, of North Vernon, passed away at 2:40 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at the Norton's Downtown Hospital in Louisville, KY.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation was chosen. Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service are entrusted with the arrangements.

Ryan was born on July 20, 1977, in Columbus, Indiana, he was the loving son of Richard Lee Johnson and Deborah Sue (Grinstead) Johnson. They survive. He was united in marriage to Christen Carter. She survives.

Ryan loved watching football, fishing, morel hunting, listening to music, and spending time with his family. He worked at AVI Incorporated as a maintenance man.

His children were the brightest spots in his life. Ashley, Lilah, and Grayson Johnson. They survive along with his wife, Christen, his parents and two brothers, Matthew and Andrew.

He was preceded in death by three uncles; Jerry Johnson, Wayne Johnson, and Tim Grinstead. He was also preceded in death by an infant son, Liam Johnson.
