Ruth Miller

February 23, 1917 - May 29, 2008

Ruth Miller, 91, of North Vernon, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2008, at Willow Crossing Nursing Home in Columbus.

Born February 23, 1917 in Lyons, IN, she was the daughter of Everett and Luva Hauck Trueblood. She married Charles J. "Zip" Miller on November 20, 1941, he preceded her in death on April 13, 2000.

Mrs. Miller had been a homemaker throughout her life. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Mrs. Miller is survived by a son, Charles W. "Bill" Miller of North Vernon, three daughters; Judy Richards and Janet Garrison of Columbus and Paula Campbell of Bloomington, nine grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Luva Trueblood, her husband, Charles "Zip" Miller and a sister, Esther Clayton.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will be 11 AM, Monday, June 2, 2008 at Sawyer~Pickett Funeral Home with the Reverend Lance Marshall officiating. Burial will be in the Vernon Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, June 1, 2008, from 2 to 6 PM, at the funeral home.
