Rose M. Bailey

Rose M. Bailey, 76, of West Alexandria, OH passed away at Hospice of Dayton, OH on Thursday, September 19, 2013.

Born February 19, 1937, in Copper Cliff, Ontario, Rose was the daughter of George and Minnie Coleman. She married John A. Bailey November 29, 1958. He preceded her in death on August 16, 2006.

Rose was a homemaker, and enjoyed crocheting, and volunteering at the food pantry and the hospital.

She is survived by daughters, Debra Mitchell of Seymour, Lydia Bailey of Greenwood, and Sharon (John) Hillen of West Alexandria, OH; sons, Brent Bailey of North Vernon, Mark Bailey of Indianapolis, Nathaniel Beardsley of Seymour; eight grandchildren Erica (Zane) Estis, Tiffany (Joey) Coppage, Olivia (Micah) Hurst, Jacob (Jessica) Hillen, Veronica Bailey, David Rogers, Kaitlin Hillen, and John Daniels; five great grandchildren, Savannah, Ashlynn, and Annalise Estis, Sydney Hurst, and Jayla Garrison.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and an infant son, John Bailey Jr., two brothers, Robert and Russell Coleman.

Funeral Information

A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday, September 23, 2013 at Sawyer - Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service. Interment will be in Cana Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM Sunday at the Funeral Home.
