Ronnie McGuire

Ronnie McGuire, 56, of North Vernon, passed away Saturday morning, May 3, 2008, at his residence.

Born July 13, 1951, in Dayton, OH, he was the son of Ancel Clyde McGuire and Christine Robinson. They preceded him in death.

Mr. McGuire enjoyed playing cards, watching his grandchildren play baseball, and spending time at Wooten & Son's Antique Shop. He was very devoted to his family and loved his children and grandchildren more than anything else in life.

Ronnie is survived by his mother, Frances McGuire of North Vernon, two sons, Phillip and Tony McGuire of North Vernon, a daughter, Tina McGuire of North Vernon, three brothers, Scotty and Daniel McGuire of North Vernon and David McGuire of Milan, five sisters, Pammy Hughes of Franklin, OH, Angie Sharp and Gail McGuire of North Vernon, Marline Poe of Columbus, and Sheila Tallent of Georgia, eight grandchildren, Mathew Sallee and Kayla, Lesli, Brandon, Mya, and Skyla McGuire of North Vernon and Brent and Rachael of Nebraska.

He was preceed in death by his parents.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be held at 7 PM, Monday, May 5, 2008 at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral Home in North Vernon, with Rev. Alvie Robinson officiating. Visitation will be from 5 PM until the time of the service on Monday. The committal service will be at the Vernon Cemetery at noon on Tuesday.
