Rodney Patrick Riley

March 18, 1965 - May 15, 2012

Rodney Patrick Riley, 47, of North Vernon, passed away at 4:40pm on May 15, 2012.

Born March 18, 1965, in Seymour, Rodney was the son of William Russell and Naomi Gareta Riley.

Rodney attended Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses in North Vernon. He loved classic cars, especially Camaro's. He enjoyed cooking and canning his "special" salsa. He loved learning and had already acquired two degrees and was working on his third. His greatest love in life was his family. He was employed by JMA (Jack Matthew & Associates) in Seymour.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Riley is survived by three sons, Chase and Russell Riley of North Vernon and Cameron Riley of Brownstown, a daughter Miranda Riley of Brownstown, two brothers, Gary Riley of Muncie and William Randall (Ruohua Cai-Riley) Riley of Anchorage Alaska, four sisters, Janice Boring of Sturgis, Michigan, Sherry (Darrell) Shrader of Shelbyville, Jeri (Marshall) Ray of Richmond and Rhonda (Jack) Brock of Morgantown, and a close companion LeeAnn Hupp.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Charles Russell Riley.

Funeral Information

A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 3:00p.m. at Sawyer - Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service. Brother Ron Haisup will officiate. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be held at a later date.
