Mr. Robert William Sparks

March 11, 1938 - April 16, 2010

Robert William Sparks, 72, of North Vernon passed on Friday, April 16, 2010 in a motor vehicle accident.

Born on March 11, 1938 in Jennings County, he was the son of the late James C. and Linda Lucille Dixon Sparks.

He graduated in 1956 from North Vernon High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force. Robert worked for the J.C. Groub Co.- "JayC Food Store" for several years.

Robert is survived by his son, Chris (Cindy) Mahan, of Urbana, OH; two grandchildren, Madison and Amanda Mahan; two sisters, Barbara Patterson of North Vernon and Linda Taulman of Seattle, WA.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Betty Woolard.

Funeral Information

A gathering of friends and family will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 22, 2010 at the First Church of the Nazarene Family Life Center in North Vernon.
