Mr. Robert Singleton

February 24, 1918 - August 28, 2012

Robert Singleton, 94, of North Vernon, passed away on August 28, 2012, at St. Catherine Regional Hospital in Charlestown.

Born on February 24, 1918, in Campbellsburg, KY, Robert was the son of the late Boyce and Francis Tate Singleton.

Mr. Singleton served in Europe during World War II. He had worked as a foreman on a cattle ranch in Nevada and at a dairy farm in Florida. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, Boyce Singleton; two sisters, Edna Mae Schmole and Ruth McCarty; and one brother, James Singleton.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2012, at 1:00 PM at Sawyer - Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service. Visitation will be on Thursday from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will be at Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison.
