Robert Lee Head, Jr., 47, of North Vernon, passed away at 9:59 p.m. on Sunday, June 23, 2019, at Eskenazi Health in Indianapolis.

A private memorial service will be conducted.  Arrangements are in the care of Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service.

Born August 10, 1971, in Columbus, Robert was the son of Robert and Barbara Lawson Head, Sr.  He worked at Rose Acre Farms for over twenty years and enjoyed fishing, animals (raising his dogs), music, and spending time with his friends.

Robert is survived by a son, Austin Robert (Felicia) Head of Clarks Hill, IN; two brothers, John (Julie) Head of St. Cloud, FL and Thomas Head of North Vernon; a sister, Angela (Lee) Cross of Westport; grandchildren, Abigail and Edward Head of Clarks Hill; and companion, Zella Trejo.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ricky Lee Head.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the donor's choice of charities.
