Obituary

Mr. Robert "Bob" Earl Waltz

November 03, 1946 - September 08, 2011

Robert "Bob" Waltz, 64 of North Vernon passed away on September 8, 2011 at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility in Columbus.
Born on November 3, 1946 in Milan, Indiana, Bob was the son of the late Robert and Margaret Owens Waltz. He later served his country in the United States Army. Bob married Gail Wagner on December 26, 1966.
Bob drove a school bus for Jennings County Schools for 19 years. He was a barber in North Vernon for 30 years and drove a semi the last 15 years, most recently for All-Star Paving of Seymour. Bob had a good heart and was always there to help a friend or stranger. He enjoyed working hard to provide for his family. He liked to spend time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and little dog, Nikki. He wouldn't want to talk about himself; he'd rather thank the wonderful staff at Columbus Regional Hospital for being so kind and helpful.
Bob leaves behind his wife of 44 years, Gail, a daughter, Paula Waltz, sons Paul and Skipp Waltz, and granddaughters, Caitlin and Cierra Waltz all of North Vernon.
