Robert Aaron Brown, 38, of North Vernon, passed away at 1:13 p.m. on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Robert was born on June 30, 1974 at King's Daughters Hospital in Madison to Larry and Jane Brown. He attended Madison Jr. & Sr. High School, graduating in 1992. Robert's daughter Aubrey was born on November 11, 1998 and later married his wife Crystal on September 19, 2009. Robert spent the first half of his life in Madison and the second half of his life in Seymour. Only recently had he moved to North Vernon where he lived until his time of passing.
Robert was an avid four wheel driver and motorcycle enthusiast. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. The two happiest days of Robert's life were when his daughter Aubrey was born and the day he married his wife Crystal. He was always quick with a laugh and enjoyed playing practical jokes.
In addition to his wife Crystal, Robert is survived by his four children, Aubrey Brown, Richelle, Jason, and William Swinney, his father, Larry Brown, mother, Jane (Bill) Hitchcock, two sisters, Lorretta Brown (Stephen) Bischoff and Lannette Hobbs, maternal grandparents, John (Willa) Knarr, aunt and uncles, Eddie and Carol Skaggs and Roy and Dee Dee Cross, and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Elsie Brown, his maternal grandmother, Ginny Rine, and a sister, Rebecca Lynn Brown.
Funeral Information
A funeral service will be held at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service in North at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 29, 2012. Visitation will be Friday evening from 4 to 8 p.m. and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday. The graveside service will be at Vernon Cemetery.
Donations Information
Expressions of sympathy and memorials in lieu of flowers may be made through the funeral home to assist his wife and children with numerous medical expenses incurred during his recent illness.
