Robert Dale Boyd, 56, of North Vernon, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at his home.

There will be a private graveside service held on Saturday, May 15, 2021. Rev. Dale Boyd will officiate. Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service are entrusted with the arrangements.

Born on June 22, 1964, in Columbus, Robert was the loving son of Ronald Sr. and Rosalie (Wills) Boyd.

Robert enjoyed fishing, camping, and hunting mushrooms and ginseng. Most of all, Robert enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Robert is survived by daughters, Nicole (Justin) Bradshaw of North Vernon, and Andrea (Jordan Monteleone) Boyd of Columbus; father, Ronald Boyd Sr. of Murray, KY; brother, Ronald (Stasha) Boyd Jr. of Tempe, AZ; sisters, Ronna (Rick) Kawsky of Warsaw, IN, and Robin (Mike) Nelson of North Vernon; four grandchildren; and a faithful companion, Robert's dog Lucke.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosalie Boyd.
