It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Robert R. Aldridge Jr., who left us on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at the age of 51. Born on August 31, 1975, in Columbus, Indiana, Robert spent his life in Holton, where he was known as a free spirit who embraced life on his own terms.

Robert had a special bond with his beloved dog, Millie, who was always by his side. He had a great love for fishing, target shooting, and catching live music at concerts. His adventurous spirit and zest for life touched everyone around him, leaving a lasting impact on friends and family.

He is survived by his loving sister, Elizabeth Meyer; brother, Cecil McIntosh; step-father, Jim Hall; and nieces and nephews, Jerry Meyer, Sarah (Brad) Johnson, Cade Johnson, Blake Johnson, Weston Johnson, Gabe McIntosh, Abby McIntosh, and Cecil McIntosh.

Robert's family plans to have a Celebration of his life at a later date.

Rest in peace, Robert. You'll be dearly missed but never forgotten.

Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Hall.
