Ricky D. West, 54, of North Vernon, passed away at 4:25 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21, 2019, at The Waters of Scottsburg.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 25, 2019, at Crossroads Community Church.

Born April 20, 1965, in Batesville, Ricky was the son of Bryce Gabbard and Mary A. Graham.  He had worked as a truck driver and enjoyed fishing and spending time with friends.

Ricky is survived by his mother, Mary A. Graham; son, Ricky Dylan West of North Vernon; sister, Allison (Jeff) Zech of North Vernon; niece, Ashley Zech of North Vernon; and great-niece, Arleigh Murray of North Vernon.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bryce Gabbard.
