Obituary

Rickey Lee Moore, 45, of Hayden, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2009, in Medora.

Born August 2, 1964 in Jackson County, IN., he was the son of late Paul J.R. and Jewell Cassetty Moore. She survives.

Rickey had been in the Army and attended Wilson's Chapel. He graduated from J.C.H.S. in 1982. He enjoyed hunting and fishing,

He is survived by his mother, Jewel Moore of Hayden, two daughters, Casandra and Wendy Moore both of Seymour, a son, Jeremy Moore, a brother, Paul David Moore of Hayden, a sister, Amanda Moore of North Vernon, and two grandsons, Madison Cockerham and Isaac Moore both of Seymour.

Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his father and son, Justin Moore.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 3, 2009 at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Reichenbacker officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 10 am until the time of the service on Thursday. Burial will be at Hayden Cemetery with a military service.
