Richard D. Cusimano

August 27, 1953 - June 15, 2010

Richard D. Cusimano, 56, of Clarksville formerly of North Vernon passed away on June 15, 2010.

Richard was born on August 27, 1953 in Seymour. He was the son of Anthony Cusimano of Chicago and the late Alberta Rite Ruetter. He was a graduate of Seymour High School. He served in the United States Army. He had been employed by the B & O Railroad for 20 years. He had spent the last 7 years as a Heavy Machine Operator in Baghdad and Kuwait.

He is survived by his father, two daughters, Angela Cusimano and Christina Hannah both of North Vernon; two step-daughters, Shanon Palmer of North Vernon and Cassidy Belding McCarthy of Manhattan Beach, CA, two brothers, Robert Judge of Seymour and Dennis Wright of Dana and three grandchildren, Alex and Andrew Wilds and Jaelyn Boswell.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Funeral Information

A memorial service will be conducted at Sawyer~Pickett Funeral Home on Monday, June 28, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. Visitation will be on Monday at 5:00 p.m. and until the time of service.
