Mr. Ralph W. McNeal

Ralph W. McNeal, 70 of Indianapolis passed away on September 9, 2009 at Marion General Hospital in Marion.

Born on January 28, 1939 in Indianapolis, Ralph was the son of the late Phillip M and Lydia Leatherbury McNeal. He later married Rocio McNeal. She survives.

Mr. McNeal had attended Oak Grove Presbyterian Church and enjoyed his family and grandchildren.

He is survived by a daughter, Virginia Brooks of French Lick, a son, Scott McNeal of Duluth, GA, two brothers, J.W. NcNeal of Indianapolis, and Phillip H. McNeal of North Vernon, a sister Phyllis Handley of Bankston, AL, five grandchildren, Jason Brooks, and Louis, Charlie, and Miles McNeal, a granddaughter, Amberly Brooks, and four great-grandchildren, Elijah Turner, Emma Brooks, Samuel Brooks, Michael Brooks.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Lee Kirschbaum, Ray, and Harvey E. McNeal.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 1 PM at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral Home with Rev. Smiley Bennett officiating. Visitation will be from 11 AM until the time of the service. Burial will be at Hulse Cemetery.
