Peggy Wilmes, 61, of North Vernon, passed away at 11:35 a.m. on Thursday, September 14, 2017, at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital.

A private graveside service will take place in Ferdinand, IN at a later date.  Arrangements were entrusted into the care of Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service.

Born August 14, 1956, in Huntingburg, IN, Peggy was the daughter of Joseph and Grace Matheis Wilmes.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister, Karen (Keith) Jerger of Evansville; and three brothers, Glenn (Brenda) Wilmes of Ferdinand, Gregg (Kathy) Wilmes and Kurt (Marya) Wilmes of St. Anthony.
