Pauline E. White

Pauline E. White, 87, of North Vernon, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2008 at her residence.

Born March 3, 1921 in Spartan, NC, she was the daughter of Kellis and Minnie Annie Atwood Barton. She married Elbert McAnelly, he preceded her in death in 1986, she then married Wayne White, he preceded her in death in 1993.

Mrs. White had been a homemaker throughout her life. She was of Baptist Faith and enjoyed quilting, fishing and spending time with her family.

Mrs. White is survived by three daughters; Dorothy M. Baker of Columbus, Alma Joann Cook of North Vernon and Brenda F. Ward of Elizabethtown, KY, six sons; Sebert L. McAnelly of Indianapolis, Jasper T. McAnelly of Virginia, James A. McAnelly of Columbia, KY, William McAnelly of Bloomington, and Robert L. McAnelly and Greg White both of Brown County, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. White was preceded in death by her parents, both of her husbands, Elbert McAnelly and Wayne White, and two brothers, James and Sebert Barton.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will be 10 AM, Thursday, June 12, 2008 at Sawyer~Pickett Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 4 to 8 PM. Burial will be in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Nashville, IN.
