Mr. Paul Allen Trapp

August 24, 1948 - June 26, 2012

Paul Allen Trapp, 63, of North Vernon, passed away on June 26, 2012, at the University of Louisville Hospital.

Born August 25, 1948, Paul was the son of the late Raymond Trapp and Ruby Trapp.

Trapp served in the United States Marine Corps in Vietnam from 1967 - 1969. He was a lifetime member of the VFW, NRA, AmVets, D.A.V, Moose Lodge and ABATE of Indiana. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed camping and cooking.

Mr. Trapp is survived by his stepmother Ione Trapp; son Derek Trapp of Taylorsville, UT; daughters Sarah (Joe) Bass of Kennewick, WA and Angela Trapp of Takoma, WA; grandchildren Eric Trapp, Jessica Trapp, Kaleb Trapp, Jackson Bass and Kurt Bass; and brothers Mike (Charlotte) Trapp and David (Jane) Trapp of North Vernon.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother Ruby Trapp.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Sawyer - Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service in North Vernon. The Rev. Dennis Ferguson will officiate. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday July 2, 2012 and from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison.
